Nonprofit Colleges Online has recognized Southeast Missouri State University’s online Bachelor of Science in criminal justice in its first Students Before Profits ranking of the top 50 schools for online bachelor’s of criminal justice degree programs. Southeast’s program was ranked #21 overall and is one of just two programs recognized at state public institutions in Missouri.


 

Southeast Missouri State University’s online graduate program in criminal justice has been ranked in the inaugural edition of the Best Online Graduate Criminal Justice Programs released this month by U.S. News & World Report. Southeast’s program is ranked 15th nationally and is the only Missouri public institution ranked among the top 35 programs.


 

Southeast Missouri State University has been named a partner in a national study funded by the U.S. Department of Education aimed at transforming K12 and higher education through innovative technology and teaching methods. The initiative is the result of a $12 million grant awarded in 2013 to Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama, from the U.S. Department of Education’s highly competitive Investing in Innovation program to establish the CORE Initiative.


 

Southeast Missouri State University’s master’s degree programs in nursing, communication disorders and business administration are among the nation’s leading graduate programs, according to the 2016 edition of Best Graduate Schools released May 2015 by U.S. News & World Report.
