College Can Be Expensive. But It Doesn’t Have To Be.
At Southeast, we pride ourselves on providing the region with high-quality, valuable and affordable education, so students are career ready and graduate with less debt. Our students are researchers, caregivers, teachers, writers, experimenters, debaters, award-winners … you get the idea. With all that talent, we wanted a way to reward even more of our students for their hard work. That’s why we created a new academic scholarship program that awards around 70 percent of our students a scholarship.
The Copper Dome Scholarship program introduces many new features in addition to expanding the number of students eligible.
Southeast Missouri State University is committed to supporting all students in their pursuit of a college degree. This new scholarship program, and the associated renewal requirements, support the goal of retaining at least 80 percent of first-time, full-time students and of graduating at least 60 percent of this student population.
In addition, because of our friends and partners, we’re able to give 1,700 endowed scholarships each year. By giving, you become part of the University’s legacy, and support future Redhawks each year.
Students can opt out of taking the ACT or SAT with a 3.50 cumulative high school GPA.
We combine the best ACT or SAT test subscores into a superscore for students who take the test multiple times.
Meet the renewal requirements each year and the scholarship increases in value, growing with you.
Many of Southeast’s scholarships can be combined with others to increase a student’s total award.
KEEP YOUR PELL
Unlike other universities, Southeast applies institutional scholarships to tuition before need-based aid.
